This is the time of year when I start getting really excited about gardening. I think I am always excited about the garden...no matter what season. However, now it has turned into a "fever" of some sort. This is my third time to post this week and I can't help myself. I look out the window and see all the pretty colors popping out at me.
I love to look at all the colors of silver, maroon, orange, green and touches of pink.
Are you feeling the gardening "fever"?
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

There's no place like Austin, Texas! In this gardening blog, I have tried to focus mainly on native and adapted plants for Central Texas! I think it is the true secret to a successful garden in this great state!

You have some good stuff going on there.
I need to get some of the millions of weeds out and get some mulch down. It's never boring, when you have a garden.
Have a good weekend.
Isn't it fun getting that fever.
I'm waiting for it to happen to me.
Ha...I know what you mean...I can barely sit still inside anymore...I keep wanting to run out and check to see what's up in the garden!
The gardening bug is pretty strong right now. Keep hoping for consecutive warm days without blowing winds and dirt so I can start playing in the soil. However, I'd gladly pass on a warm day in exchange for a rainy one. We so need the moisture up in West Texas.
I think the fever is what gets us going for the long gardening season ahead. We should remember it in August when we are all melting away in the heat and some garden chores are not as enjoyable! :0)
Feverish is a permanent state of mind for me! Unless it's too boiling hot outside to do anything and then I tend to cool down a bit. :o) Your gaura is beautiful! I'm adding it to my garden this year.
Yes! although for me it's like a feverish itch that i have to keep scratching by ignoring all other aspects of my life. Dishes? Heck no, there's something that needs potting on. Laundry? Hmm I think there's some pruning to do...
Hi Amy. I wandered into here from Britta's blog and I've really enjoyed reading your posts. Texas is very different to the UK, that's for sure!
I've got the fever - I've also got snowdrops by the bucketload and new shoots sprouting up everywhere - I love it! :)
I've totally got "the fever"! I just planted my orange Globe Mallow and some other new plants. I also purchased my tomatoes last weekend. When the tomatoes get purchased, it's official, Spring has Sprung!
I am so ready to work in my garden. Spring can't get here soon enough for me!
So ready for spring. I keep looking out into the garden and planning! Warmer weather can't get here soon enough!
Bless your heart, Amy. I keep thinking about last summer, how hot it was and how difficult gardening was and now look at you! All geared up and ready to go. Your photos are wonderful and your enthusiasm is contagious. I hope it's an awesome year for you.
Yes, the fever is on while the hot fever of summer is gone! It's amazing how much energy I get this time of year. Lovely pictures, as always!
Hi Amy, just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

I do not have the fever yet, but the weather is starting to turn, and that is encouraging. I like the Artimesia.
My seed catalogues are getting pretty worn, I must say. When the fever hits, it hits with a vengeance!. I feel for you.
I hope all is well with you Pam.
Hello. Just dropped by to see how you and the garden were doing. Hope to hear from you soon.
Just stopped by to say "Hello". Hope all is well with you. Miss seeing your posts. Looking forward to future updates on your garden.
Nice to see colours coming back into the garden!
